Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!

Macy sat on Santa's lap for the first time tonight. We went to my aunt Teresa's house for a family party, and Santa made a visit to all the little kids. Nobody cried, but nobody was very excited either. So we just got lots of pictures. Macy mostly wanted to eat his beard.

Christmas Dress

I also have to show off the great Christmas dress Macy's Grandma Clark gave her. She opened it last week so that she could wear it to church today. She loved the wrapping paper like I knew she would, but she really enjoyed seeing the dress in the box too! I can't wait to see her Christmas morning! (By the way this is a $54.00 dress that my mom got for $10.00!!! What a bargain shopper! And the shoes are from Grandma Cagle which she got for 25 cents at a yard sale! Love it!) Ok, another side note....I had to put an extension in Macy's headband to fit her large head! Poor baby!

"Baby's First Christmas"

This is Macy's lovely $1.00 shirt and hat from target. She can make anything look cute! This holiday season has been so much fun with her! What a blessing Macy has been to our family and our lives. I'm seriously so lucky to have such an angel for a baby.

Trouble Maker!

So it's way past time to baby proof my house! Macy is very mobile now and so I spend most of my day chasing her and pulling her away from things. It doesn't help that I have all my Christmas stuff out too. The Christmas tree and presents are so shiny and pretty that they are absolutely irresistable to Macy! And when I say, "no, no, no," she just looks at me and laughs. So we're working on that. She also likes to play with the volume knob on our receiver for our surround sound. She'll turn it up so loud that it scares her. So I say no and pull her away and she's right back within the next 2 minutes! But as you can see from the pictures it's hard to be upset with her! She's already got us wrapped around her finger!

It's all good!

So Macy saw the pediatric cardiologist today. The doctor thinks she's fine, and that the heart murmer is very innocent. We don't have to go back until Macy is five years old! Before we saw the cardiologist though, we had to get a chest x-ray and EKG. Macy is such a flirt! All the x-ray techs were young men and she really put on a show for them! When she was done there they gave her a teddy bear and she gave a little giggle and a smile to the young man who handed it to her. Then we had to do the EKG. Boy was that an experience. They attached about 12 leads to her body and to keep her still and all of the leads connected was a struggle. She did really well though and stayed happy through it all. Wow! I never thought motherhood could be so wonderful! I love that little girl more than I thought I could love anything. She's truly a blessing and my little angel.

Just some really cute pics!

As soon as Macy sees that orange light from the camera she gives a great smile!

Big Day!

So today was a big day for Macy! First we went to the doctor to follow up on her heart murmer. It was still there and hasn't changed, so she's going to see a pediatric cardiologist from Primary children's and have a chest x-ray and EKG. They have a clinic at EIRMC every couple months, but the good news is they will be here next week! So we'll go see what's going on. It's nothing to worry about though, cuz she's extremely healthy otherwise. The most exciting part of the day though was when Macy got her first tooth! She's such an angel too! She hasn't been sad or anything, she's just been drooling like crazy!!!! She tried biting my finger and I felt a sharp little tooth! Yippy! She also took her first official crawling move! What a big girl! She's growing up way too fast, so I guess I'll try to enjoy every second of it!

Scooter!

Macy is finally scooting forward! She's getting pretty fast too! I caught video of it tonight. She's also sayng dada, yaya, baba, and only mama when she's mad! She's standing up to things, and trying really really hard to pull herself up to everything. I have to start child proofing my house fast! I can't believe how much babies can learn in just a matter of days. I'm starting to get kind of sad that my baby's growing up so quickly! I guess I should just enjoy and capture the moments though.

" Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall"

Macy was loving herself in the mirror the other day! So much that was kissing herself! What a cutie! The fun never ends with her!

Project of the day!

So this is my project for the day. I just covered and decorated a travel size baby wipe holder. It was pretty fun! I figured it would make a great baby shower gift since I have a whole bunch coming up!

Halloween Baby!

So I didn't go all out on the halloween costume for Macy this year. I figured she can't eat candy and we can't go trick or treating yet, so my mom just bought her some cat ears. She even acted it out! She through her hands like a cat scratching and started hissing!!!!! (I know she didn't know that's what she was doing.) Next year she'll understad what's going on! I can't wait! She was still way cute this year though. The holidays are going to be so much fun! I better get on top of child proofing the house though. That should be interesting with Christmas decor.

Grandma and Grandpa Cagle

Well Macy's "nana and papa" Cagle finally got to see her for the second time last weekend. Payte's dad went hunting in Montana for a week, so his mom flew in to Idaho at the end of the week and spent some time with us. They were pretty entertained by Macy, as all of us are. Last time they saw her she was wasn't much fun at all. Now she's making all kinds of sounds, including squealing, hissing, gooing, purring etc. She's also rolling, sitting, kind of scooting, and loves to jump in her jumper! She uses the jumper I jumped in when I was a baby 24 years ago! It's fun for Macy, but even more fun for us to watch! What a girl!

Ok, so I don't really have a story to go with these pictures. They're just really cute, I can't help but share them with everyone! What a fun baby!

Slobber Faucet!

As soon as Macy turned 4 months old she started slobbering like crazy! It has gotten so bad lately, so she has to either wear a bib all day or I end up changing her clothes a couple times, because she soaks clear through everything. The pictures show she really doesn't mind though. Especially if the bib is cute and pink!!!!

Burrrrr!!!!!

Poor Macy gets pretty cold after her baths! As soon as I take her towel off, she begins to shiver. I think she gets it from me. I drive my husband crazy at night, because I'm always shivering. I have to turn on an extra heater for Macy at night, but I still suffer, because Payte is always so hot. So I dress warm and use extra blankets.

Macy's first Sippy Cup!

Macy now has her first sippy cup! She does pretty well with it, but she'd rather chew on it than drink out of it. She chews and drools on everything! I've been thinking she's teething for the last two months, but we still haven't seen anything. Oh well. My brothers and I didn't get any teeth until after we were a year old. So we could still have a while.

My pretty purple monster!

WHAT A CUTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bath Time!

Macy loves her bath time! Her tub has a few different ways to sit in it, and she is now sitting on "the big girl side"! I think this is her best part of the day.
