I enjoy watching Macy getting so much pleasure out of the most simple things in life! Right now she especially loves playing in the snow. The Christmas season has been so much fun this year thanks to little Macy! She is so excited about everything! She quickly learned who Santa is, and really enjoys watching him from a distance. So it's way past time to baby proof my house! Macy is very mobile now and so I spend most of my day chasing her and pulling her away from things. It doesn't help that I have all my Christmas stuff out too. The Christmas tree and presents are so shiny and pretty that they are absolutely irresistable to Macy! And when I say, "no, no, no," she just looks at me and laughs. So we're working on that.

So Macy saw the pediatric cardiologist today. The doctor thinks she's fine, and that the heart murmer is very innocent. We don't have to go back until Macy is five years old! Before we saw the cardiologist though, we had to get a chest x-ray and EKG. Macy is such a flirt! All the x-ray techs were young men and she really put on a show for them! When she was done there they gave her a teddy

So today was a big day for Macy! First we went to the doctor to follow up on her heart murmer. It was still there and hasn't changed, so she's going to see a pediatric cardiologist from Primary children's and have a chest x-ray and EKG. They have a clinic at EIRMC every couple months, but the good news is they will be here next week! So we'll go see what's going on. It's nothing to worry

So this is my project for the day. I just covered and decorated a travel size baby wipe holder. It was pretty fun! I figured it would make a great baby shower gift since I have a whole bunch coming up!

So I didn't go all out on the halloween costume for Macy this year. I figured she can't eat candy and we can't go trick or treating yet, so my mom just bought her some cat ears. Well Macy's "nana and papa" Cagle finally got to see her for the second time last weekend. As soon as Macy turned 4 months old she started slobbering like crazy! It has gotten so bad lately, so she has to either wear a bib all day or I end up changing her clothes a couple times, because she soaks clear through everything. The pictures show she really doesn't mind though. Especially if the bib is cute and pink!!!!

Poor Macy gets pretty cold after her baths! As soon as I take her towel off, she begins to shiver. I think she gets it from me. I drive my husband crazy at night, because I'm always shivering. I have to turn on an extra heater for Macy at night, but I still suffer, because Payte is always so hot. So I dress warm and use extra blankets.

Macy now has her first sippy cup! She does pretty well with it, but she'd rather chew on it than drink out of it. She chews and drools on everything! I've been thinking she's teething for the last two months, but we still haven't seen anything. Oh well. My brothers and I didn't get any teeth until after we were a year old. So we could still have a while.
