Santa Claus is Comin' to Town!

Macy sat on Santa's lap for the first time tonight. We went to my aunt Teresa's house for a family party, and Santa made a visit to all the little kids. Nobody cried, but nobody was very excited either. So we just got lots of pictures. Macy mostly wanted to eat his beard.

Christmas Dress

I also have to show off the great Christmas dress Macy's Grandma Clark gave her. She opened it last week so that she could wear it to church today. She loved the wrapping paper like I knew she would, but she really enjoyed seeing the dress in the box too! I can't wait to see her Christmas morning! (By the way this is a $54.00 dress that my mom got for $10.00!!! What a bargain shopper! And the shoes are from Grandma Cagle which she got for 25 cents at a yard sale! Love it!) Ok, another side note....I had to put an extension in Macy's headband to fit her large head! Poor baby!

"Baby's First Christmas"

This is Macy's lovely $1.00 shirt and hat from target. She can make anything look cute! This holiday season has been so much fun with her! What a blessing Macy has been to our family and our lives. I'm seriously so lucky to have such an angel for a baby.

Trouble Maker!

So it's way past time to baby proof my house! Macy is very mobile now and so I spend most of my day chasing her and pulling her away from things. It doesn't help that I have all my Christmas stuff out too. The Christmas tree and presents are so shiny and pretty that they are absolutely irresistable to Macy! And when I say, "no, no, no," she just looks at me and laughs. So we're working on that. She also likes to play with the volume knob on our receiver for our surround sound. She'll turn it up so loud that it scares her. So I say no and pull her away and she's right back within the next 2 minutes! But as you can see from the pictures it's hard to be upset with her! She's already got us wrapped around her finger!

It's all good!

So Macy saw the pediatric cardiologist today. The doctor thinks she's fine, and that the heart murmer is very innocent. We don't have to go back until Macy is five years old! Before we saw the cardiologist though, we had to get a chest x-ray and EKG. Macy is such a flirt! All the x-ray techs were young men and she really put on a show for them! When she was done there they gave her a teddy bear and she gave a little giggle and a smile to the young man who handed it to her. Then we had to do the EKG. Boy was that an experience. They attached about 12 leads to her body and to keep her still and all of the leads connected was a struggle. She did really well though and stayed happy through it all. Wow! I never thought motherhood could be so wonderful! I love that little girl more than I thought I could love anything. She's truly a blessing and my little angel.

Just some really cute pics!

As soon as Macy sees that orange light from the camera she gives a great smile!

Big Day!

So today was a big day for Macy! First we went to the doctor to follow up on her heart murmer. It was still there and hasn't changed, so she's going to see a pediatric cardiologist from Primary children's and have a chest x-ray and EKG. They have a clinic at EIRMC every couple months, but the good news is they will be here next week! So we'll go see what's going on. It's nothing to worry about though, cuz she's extremely healthy otherwise. The most exciting part of the day though was when Macy got her first tooth! She's such an angel too! She hasn't been sad or anything, she's just been drooling like crazy!!!! She tried biting my finger and I felt a sharp little tooth! Yippy! She also took her first official crawling move! What a big girl! She's growing up way too fast, so I guess I'll try to enjoy every second of it!
